In Exiled Ariana is finally back on board the Neptune, where she belongs, and all she wants is to prove that she is a loyal member of the submarine's crew and mobile colony.
But tensions aboard the Neptune are rising between the military crew and the civilian population. When those tensions finally erupt, Ariana finds herself suffering the consequences.
And there is still that faint, but persistent, cry for help from Decapolis. Ariana can't imagine living for a lifetime beneath the ocean and never seeing the surface. She can't turn her back on that cry for help.
